A majority of HYROX races are held indoors, where GPS cannot reliably track pace. Until now, that has meant limited visibility into how fast you are actually running during each 1 km segment. Amazfit now brings real time indoor running pace to HYROX Race Mode through Stryd integration.
That means something very simple for your race. You can finally see your real pace as you run.
In a HYROX race, every run loop matters. It is where you recover, where you make time, and where it is easiest to go out a little too hard without realizing it. Inside large indoor arenas, satellite signals are limited or unavailable, so real time GPS pace is not reliable on any watch. That is what has made pacing one of the hardest parts of racing HYROX.
When you pair a Stryd foot pod with your Amazfit watch, pacing becomes much simpler. Stryd is a small sensor worn on your shoe that measures pace directly from your movement, not from satellites. That means your watch can show accurate, real time indoor running pace during every run segment, even when GPS is not available. After the race, the Zepp app lets you review each run loop, so you can see where you stayed on plan and where you might want to adjust going into your next event.
Using it on race day is simple. Pair your Stryd running pod to your Amazfit watch and start HYROX Race Mode. Your pace appears automatically as you run. No extra setup is needed during the race. You just run and let your watch do the work.
